Overview

Requests for emergency funding

Charities they have previously supported which are facing difficulties because of the outbreak and need urgent financial support are invited to contact them.

In the short term the Trust will consider helping charities who demonstrate an urgent need for emergency funds with grants of up to £5,000. They expect this to be taken up by small local charities and the funds will be paid quickly.

Further funds will be made available next month (May) for potentially larger awards. An announcement will be made on this website during May.

Current grantees

Charities holding unspent (in whole or part) grants for projects or programmes which are now on hold or cancelled must contact them. They wish to support their grantees and reasonable requests for a reallocation or derestriction of funds are likely to be granted, but permission must be sought and given before the funds are used elsewhere.
