Overview

The Community Support Grant aid aims to assists projects that:

  • Foster community development activity in areas of identified socio-economic need.
  • Increase community self-confidence through the enhancement of community leadership skills.
  • Encourage community responses to the current needs of special groups.
  • Assists groups to identify their needs and develop plans to address these.
  • Improve community access to training resources.
  • Encourage the adoption of appropriate evaluation mechanisms.
  • Enhance community access to resources.

There are three levels of funding available to eligible groups:

Community Support Project Grant £300 - £500

Community Buidling (Administration) Grant - 75% of eligible costs to a maximum of £2,000

Capacity Building Grant - 75% of total costs to a maximum of £3,000.
