Overview

The Fund seeks to help small charitable organisations operating in Northern Ireland with grants of up to £2,000 for capital items. Priority will be given to applicants operating in the following areas of disadvantage:

  • Alcohol & substance misuse
  • Elderly people
  • Disabled people
  • Homelessness
  • Disadvantaged minority communities
  • Prisoners & Ex offenders
  • Disadvantaged young people
  • Visual impairment
  • Domestic & sexual violence

Applicant organisations must have an operating income of under £250,000 p.a.

Copies of 6 months’ bank statements or relevant financial information must accompany this application form. Any additional relevant background information should be attached on a separate sheet.

Grants are confined to causes or projects within Northern Ireland.

Evidence of expenditure of grant must be provided within 6 months and any unused grant monies should be returned.

And, although not exclusively, preference will be given to items of a capital nature rather than running costs.
