Overview

There is up to £5,000 is available to individuals to develop and lead Internet based solutions to the problems that affect our society with a limited number of projects may be eligible to apply for up to £15,000, see below for details.

To be eligible for an Award, you must have an original and innovative project that meets at least one of the following themes:

  • Increases education about the Internet & Information Technology
  • Promotes and addresses online safety
  • Provides an Internet based solution to social, educational, health and environmental issues
  • Increases digital inclusion and the use of new media for a social purpose

Who can apply?

You can apply as an individual or informal group if you are:

  • Over the age of 16
  • Living in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland
  • Not part of an established organisation

What Awards are available?

Up to £5,000 of funding and support is available to develop your idea. For those who have an established project with a wide reach or demonstrable long-term potential, you could be eligible to apply for a specialist package of support and funding of up to £15,000.

Better Net Level 2 Awards can be up to £15,000. The Award can be used for your living expenses and project costs and we will be as flexible as we can in matching the Award to your projects financial needs. UnLtd will support you in evolving your project idea through a dedicated Development Manager, who will design a support package tailored to your needs and enabling you to drive forward your vision of long lasting social change.
