Overview

This programme is designed specifically for very small charities and is separate to their main Website Grant. As part of this programme:

  • Successful applicants will also receive a website strategy and design process to adapt the templated site to their needs.
  • Applications are accepted on a rolling basis
  • Your organisation will need to cover ongoing costs for a minimum of a 12 month commitment

Criteria

  • This programme is exclusively designed for charities, CICs and other non-profits with income of less than £350,000. Organisations with incomes higher than this will not be considered for this programme. As a guideline, the programme is also principally designed for organisations with a minimum of £100,000 annual income
  • Given the limited number of sites available, the programme is on an invite only basis according to a prescribed cause, size and geography.
  • Recipients must be charities, CICs or other non-profits with a social mission

Should you apply?

  • This programme is specifically designed for smaller non-profits with relatively simple requirements. It is not appropriate to large organisations with complex or bespoke needs
  • They are however seeking to support organisations that are looking to use their website as a marketing platform in order to achieve their charitable objectives, whether they be raising funds, recruiting volunteers or reaching beneficiaries. Therefore, this programme is best suited to organisations with specific objectives that benefit from advanced marketing and fundraising tools, rather than those just looking to use their site as a brochure.
  • They look to support organisations that are committed to making best use of their new website e.g. through updating content frequently. Therefore, they suggest you only apply if you can commit to someone in your organisation spending at least 2 hours a week managing the website

Partners

They have selected Raising IT as their current partner for this programme. Raising IT has raised built websites and raised millions of pounds for over 600 clients.
