Overview

Since its founding in 2010, the Explore Fund has provided over 500 grants to nonprofits that serve thousands of people in communities around the country. The Explore Fund reflects their commitment to introduce more people to the joy of exploring the outdoors and the natural world. The Explore Fund supports organisations that encourage youth outdoor participation, focus on sustainability initiatives, or help to create a connection to nature that will empower the future leaders of tomorrow.

Funding Criteria

  • Conservation groups and organisations
  • Outdoor charities
  • Outdoor industry associations
  • Organizations or companies involved in the following sports/ activities: camping, environmental education, hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, indoor rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, trail running, alpinism

What funding is available?

€1 million in total is available to support the outdoor communities that make exploration possible. Grant requests range from €1000 to €50,000.
