Overview

Most recent update

There has been a very successful take up of the grant-aid scheme over recent years and existing resources are now fully committed. Applications are being processed as funding becomes available. Future offers will be issued at the previous rate of 35% for repairs and 75% for associated fees for most schemes. Offers will be capped at 150K per phase per year.

To assist with the protection and retention of the ‘special' interest of these historic listed buildings, NIEA: The Historic Building Unit offers financial assistance to owners through a grant-aid scheme designed to help meet the recognised
additional costs of repair and maintenance of listed buildings along with some associated reasonable professional fees.

EHS only offers grant assistance for the repair or maintenance of listed buildings and associated professional fees.

  • Non ecclesiatical buildings Grade A, B+, B1, B2 at 35%
  • Ecclesiastical Grade A, B+ at 35% (Grade B not eligible)
