Overview
This year, they are looking for outstanding events in the following categories, each aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
- Girls do IT! (SDG 5: Gender Equality): Focused on closing the gender gap in IT by empowering girls through digital skills and breaking down stereotypes.
- Diversity (SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities): Aimed at supporting under-represented communities lacking access to digital education and promoting inclusion.
- Code for the Planet (SDG 13: Climate Action): Encouraging events that combine digital skills with environmental awareness, contributing to sustainability efforts.
Criteria
To qualify, your event must meet the following criteria:
- Category Integration: Does it align with and incorporate the aims of the selected category?
- Innovation: Has it taken a creative and forward-thinking approach to digital education?
- Scalability: Can it serve as a best practice example for other organizations?
You will need to provide a detailed event description, an inspiring story, and high-quality photos. Please note that each event can only be submitted for one category, and you must complete an impact survey which includes feedback from participants and NPO as well. Entries must be submitted in English.
