Priority Themes
- Employability - Supporting people to improve their employability, training and educational outcomes
- Social mobility - Helping people to better realise their potential, aspire and advance, regardless of their background
- Mental health - Empowering people to improve their wellbeing and personal resilience
- Disaster avoidance & recovery - Enabling communities to develop better disaster avoidance strategies to mitigate future risks, prepare for disasters and to recover from disasters quickly when they happen
- Climate - Equipping communities with the tools to better understand future risks to our environment, build climate resilience and ensuring we give communities the tools to ensure the transition to net zero by 2050 a low carbon economy
Lloyd’s of London Foundation’s charity partnerships for 2024/26
Applications are now open for the Lloyd’s of London Foundation’s charity partnerships for 2024/26.
This is an opportunity for charities to apply for a total grant of £150,000 for a total partnership of two and half years (from July 2024 to December 2026), to support a project in any of the areas of:
- Health,
- Homelessness,
- Young People and
- Climate.
The charity will receive three £50,000 instalments over this funding term; £50,000 in year 1 (2024), £50,000 in year 2 (2025) and £50,000 in year 3 (2026).
Grant information
The grant will give the charity the opportunity to partner with the Lloyd’s of London Foundation and engage with the Lloyd’s community both through our employees in the corporation and the wider Lloyd’s insurance market. We are looking to partner with organisations that support the people and communities in which we work and support employee engagement activities primarily through fundraising and volunteering as a secondary focus.
Charity guidance: applications with some or all the following specifications will be favoured:
- Charities with an income of between £1m and £10m (including investment portfolios and reserves).
- Support groups that are at risk and are the hardest to reach
- Focus on one or more of the following themes: Health, Homelessness, Young People and Climate.
- Demonstrate good governance and due diligence
- Proposals that are evidenced by research
- Demonstrate a key need and address the issues outlined in the proposal
- The primary focus of the partnership will be employee engagement through fundraising with volunteering opportunities being a secondary focus.

- Previous grantees of the Society of Lloyd’s or the Lloyd’s charities
