Overview

The Awards will recognise, reward and raise the profile of innovative projects through the following five categories:

Category 1: Innovation in supporting local economic development

Category 2: Innovation in promoting community engagement

Category 3: Innovation in promoting healthy living

Category 4: Innovation in supporting children and young people

Category 5: Innovation in promoting environmental sustainability

Projects may be entered for consideration under a minimum of one and maximum of two award categories.

The Idox Innovation Awards are open to formally constituted organisations based in and carrying out activities in the United Kingdom, including:

  • Voluntary and community organisations
  • Community, parish and town councils
  • Primary and secondary schools
  • Academies
  • Health bodies
  • Local authorities
  • Universities
  • FE and HE colleges
  • Emergency services
  • Housing associations
