Overview

The NGS Professional Development Grants (PDGs) for hospice staff aim to improve the quality of care given to patients, their carers and families.

Individuals can apply for a maximum of 50% of course or module fees, up to £1,500 in any one year – subject to funds being available.

Professional Development Grants must be claimed within twelve months of the award being made.

Hospice UK reserves the right to withdraw funding on PDGs older than 12 months. Applications can be made for individual modules or a particular year of multi-year courses.

A new application form must be submitted for each subsequent year or module and must be received by the Grants Team at least a month before the start of the next year or further modules.

Please note, Doctors are eligible to apply via the separate Wolfson Professional Development programme or the MCF Bursary programme.
