Happy Days Children's Charity
Overview
They provide holidays, residential trips, day trips and visiting theatre performances for children & young people who have disabilities or life limiting conditions or who have been abused and young carers who are resident in the United Kingdom.
Family Day Trips & Family Holiday Breaks
Family Day Trips can be a wide variety of destinations such as zoos, farm parks, theme parks, the seaside or the theatre.
Their family breaks can be to the seaside or the countryside, usually in the UK.
You can apply to them for a family day trip or a family break if you have a child or children with special educational needs, who have been victims of abuse or who have a life-limiting condition, and are aged 3-17.
They always do their best to act quickly to arrange breaks for children with life-limiting conditions, and try to be flexible with the application criteria.
They accept applications from parents, guardians, grandparents or siblings, as well as GPs, consultants, nurses or social workers.
They do ask that you complete a feedback form and provide feedback (pictures, photos, letters etc) after you have taken your break, as this allows us to tell our supporters more about their work. (See website)
If you have any questions or need help completing the form call 01462 530710 or email Ann DaRocha at ann@happydayscharity.org
