Greggs Foundation: Community Grants Programme
Overview
The Greggs Foundation Community Grants programme recognises the essential role of local organisations in tackling the challenges facing communities. They believe in funding organisations helping to meet the needs of the local community.
The Greggs Foundation Community Grant Programme runs four funding rounds each year, offering grants of up to £20,000 for up to two years to support impactful local initiatives.
Each round focuses on specific locations, selected based on community need and proximity to a Greggs Outlet.
As a grant-giving organisation, they understand the difficulties many charitable organisations face in accessing grant funding to meet fixed costs. Greggs Foundation Community Grants are a core funding grant to help organisations manage the financial requirements to keep their services running.
They can consider the following costs:
- Contributions towards bills, i.e. electricity, gas, rent, rates
- Contributions towards core salaries (managers or administrators rather than project workers or sessional staff)
- HMRC costs relating to the core salaries only
