Overview

As a Company FG Wilson aims to:

  • Allocate assistance to each of its three plants for sponsorship and charity activities.
  • Help in the development and revitalisation of the local economy.
  • Provide assistance to education and training in the local community.

Charities:

  • FG Wilson will maximise our charitable giving by supporting one nominated charity to be decided upon annually by the Sponsorship and Charity Committee. This charity will receive a substantial Company grant and be promoted throughout the Company with employees encouraged to undertake a further range of supporting activities.
  • Requests from other charitable organisations will be considered on an ad hoc basis.
  • FG Wilson will administer an employee Give As You Earn scheme whereby employees commit a monthly contribution to their nominated charity.
  • Charities will be favourably considered if FG Wilson employees are actively involved or will benefit directly.

FG Wilson may favourably consider requests:

  • That involve FG Wilson employees or their families.
  • That have a local community impact or focus.
  • That support continuing education initiatives that tie in with Company business objectives.
  • That are youth focused.

The FG Wilson Sponsorship and Charity Committee:

  • The Committee is made up of representatives from across the Company and meets on a monthly basis.
  • All requests for sponsorship and assistance should be made to the Committee using the application form enclosed.
  • All requests for sponsorship and assistance will be replied to in writing regardless of outcome.

Schools and Colleges:

  • The Company is committed to providing support to local schools and colleges to improve students’ general understanding of business and our industry in particular.

Requests for factory tours, employee participation in ‘Insight into Industry’ days, assistance with mock interviews, work experience, project work etc, will be treated favourably subject to normal business commitments.
