Overview

Foundation Giveaways

They know that many charities are doing fantastic work to support children and young people in their local communities, but often they fall under the radar for public donations or simply have neither the time nor the resources to construct written bids for funding from companies, trusts and foundations. To help address this, they developed a programme of ‘Giveaway’ events with the first taking place in 2007.

Working with their fundraising volunteers and local and regional media partners, they invite local youth charities to apply for a share of our Giveaway amount, usually £5,000 or £10,000. Giveaways are localised and promoted through a local media partner; previous Giveaways have taken place in Gatwick with The Crawley Observer, and in Belfast with Sunday Life.

Since 2007, they have been able to support 354 different projects with funding totalling £402,896, benefitting 74,416 children and young people.
