Overview
Creagh Concrete, which is based in Toomebridge, increased its turnover to £51m in 2011, up 24% on £39m in 2011. Pre-tax profits were just short of £500,000 compared to £59,000 in 2010.
The Belfast Telegraph had ranked Creagh Concrete at number 71 in the Top 100 Northern Ireland Companies in 2009 although it reported the company made a loss of £200,000. The company does not feature in the top 100 in 2012.
The companies first operation was in Toomebridge but now operates across the UK and also has a quarry in Draperstown. The McKeague family are the primary shareholders in the company which employs close to 500 people.
Creagh Concrete supports charities through a community support programme. This awards are normally announced in the run up to Christmas each year.

Creagh Concrete donated a total of £10,000 to charities in Christmas 2005 as part of its Community Support Programme. In 2005 Creagh continued their tradition of donating to local and national charities in lieu of Christmas gifts and gave a total of £10,000.
Those who benefited from the donations included; CRASH, Bryson House, Belfast and Kilronan School in Magherafelt.
Creagh Concrete have also supported The William Keown Trust with a seminar entitled 'Inclusive Design for the 21st Century'.
The seminar highlighted the recent progress made to make the environment more inclusive for people with disabilities through amended regulations.
In 2002 supported the NI Cancer Fund for Children and NIMBA (now TinyLife) with donations of £2,500 each.
