- undertaking thorough research
- costs associated with enabling collaboration with scientists and researchers
- script/treatment development
- scoping multimedia potential or wrap-around activities
- working up a comprehensive distribution plan
- producing a showreel/taster tape or storyboard
- building a game prototype.
Co-production AwardsThese awards - of up to £40,000 - support the production of TV, radio, games or film projects that engage (as a whole or in part) with biomedical science and its impact on our lives in an innovative, entertaining and accessible way. To be competitive, projects must experiment in the way they tell science stories, be innovative in form or content, and be aimed at a mass 'entertainment-seeking' audience.
