Community Foundation for NI:Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Fund for Belfast

Overview

The fund will support constituted community groups within the Belfast City Council local government boundary for:

  • The provision of community led event(s) celebration programme(s) which demonstrate appropriate community benefit and/or community input and delivery during the 4-day jubilee bank holiday weekend (2 – 5 June 2022)
  • The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee being the central theme of the programme being organised
  • Delivery of an inclusive programme that brings individuals together to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, and that supports participants to be active and involved in their community in positive ways, building relationships and fostering community spirit

Multiple ‘Umbrella’ applications:

Umbrella organisations can support applications from community groups who do not have a constitution, however, this will be up to a limit of £6,000 in total, with the minimum award per group £500, maximum award per group being £2,000. An application per community group must be received.

If you are an organisation with purposes to advance religion you should seek an eligible umbrella organisation who can submit an application for an eligible project on your behalf. Alternatively you can work with an eligible partner organisation who can act as the lead applicant.

Priority will be given to:

  • Collaborative projects

Funding available:

Grants ranging from a minimum of £500 up to a maximum of £2,000

Payment:

Successful awards will be paid 100% in advance. Applicants may be subject to verification and will be asked to submit all relevant receipts of payments made with the funding.
