Who can apply?
Applications are invited from eligible Disability or Women’s Clubs – Mainstream Clubs who are starting or developing an already existing Disability or Women’s section.
Size of Grant:
Grants available: Up to £1,000
What can be supported?
Options for applications may include:
- IFA Level 1 Coaching Disabled footballers Award – £40pp – Open to All Clubs
- IFA Level 1 – £240pp – Open to All Clubs
- UK Disability Inclusion in Sport Course (Disability Sport NI) – £80pp – Open to All Clubs
- 6 Session Mentoring – £120 – Open to Clubs starting a Disability Section only
- £300 Facility Support – Open to All Clubs
- £300 Equipment Support – Open to All Clubs
- OCN football Administration – £220 per person
- Tournament planning (how to run, pre-planning, fixtures, facility booking, clubs registering interest, risk assessment etc.) – £50 – open to all clubs
- Media Training – £80 per person – open to all clubs
- IFA Level 2 Coaching Disability Footballers Award- £150
- Safe guarding course – £25
- Child welfare- £25
- First Aid- £50
Notes:
All receipts must match the funding awarded at the end of the funding period.
They will particularly reward clubs who can demonstrate clear policy against racism and sectarianism and links with BME participation. This should be clear and detailed within the Equality Policy and added as a supporting document to the online application.
