Funding February was our chance to support your fundraising needs. Thanks to our many contributors for helping us to curate this collection of articles and resources

 

From highlighting funding opportunities and brilliant case studies that inspire to shedding a light on why networking is important, these articles and resources cover a variety of topics to help you stay informed and build on knowledge and skills.

They also demonstrate the wealth resources and events available to the voluntary and community sector including fundraisers in Northern Ireland.

  • Funding February - A Case Study: Planned interventions bring children from segregated communities together
    • Take a look at this brilliant case study of Oxford United Stars FC’s Planned Interventions project that brings young people together from across the Derry City and Strabane District Council areas to play football.  
  • Funding February - Social Investment: unlocking community transformation funding
    • Mid and East Antrim Agewell Partnership and Social Finance are working together to develop social investment in Northern Ireland with new community transformation funds.

    • In late January, The National Lottery Community Fund, the UK’s largest community fund, published their guidance on using AI for funding applications and their 10 principles for using AI to benefit people and communities. We take a look at this guidance and where you can find out more about AI and support your organisation.

    • The Department of Foreign Affairs Reconciliation Fund will open on Wednesday, 12th February 2025 at 11am. Find out more.
  • Funding February: The King Charles III Charitable Fund now open
    • The King Charles III Charitable Fund has now closed, but you can find out more and be prepared to apply when it opens again later this year.
  • Funding February: The Triangle Trust 1949 Fund wants to hear from you
    • The Triangle Trust 1949 Fund, a UK-wide grant-giving Trust, is keen to receive more applications from Northern Ireland based organisations for their scheme opening in April 2025.
  • Funding February: The Big Give's Small Charity Week
    • Big Give, Global’s Make Some Noise and NCVO are championing small charities across the UK, through a seven-day online match funded campaign. Up to £10,000 match funding.
