ICO would like to hear from our sector
We are excited to announce that we are starting a new project in partnerhsip with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), to support The Voluntary and Community Sector in NI with their awareness and confidence levels when it comes to data protection.
The project will kick off with a ‘Data protection essentials’ online webinar on Thursday 18 September 10am-12noon where you will hear directly from the ICO’s Northern Ireland-based staff and can put your data protection questions to them. There’s still time to register for the event if you haven’t already done so - Data protection essentials with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) | NICVA
The ICO would like to hear your views on your current levels of knowledge and confidence when it comes to data protection, and what in particular you’d like to learn more about. They will use this information to tailor future webinars and blogs so your response really will make a difference and shape the future of the project.
You can share your views by completing this short survey https://forms.office.com/e/DWzbGY5Eb7
Please complete the survey by 3 October 2025 at 5pm.
Even if you can’t attend the session on 18 September, please still complete the survey so your views can be captured. The survey will take less than 5 minutes to complete, we really value and welcome your input.
