The Screwfix Foundation
Overview
The Screwfix Foundation raise funds throughout the year to support causes that will change people's lives. They work with both national and local charities, donating much needed funds to help all sorts of projects, from repairing building and improving facilities in deprived areas, to decorating the homes of people living with sickness and disabilities.
To date they have raised over £1.5 million since launching in 2013, helping more than 1,000 local charities throughout the UK, as well as supporting two National Charity Partners; Barnardos and Macmillan.
They have a clear charitable purpose to support projects that improve, fix and repair buildings, homes and facilities specifically used by PEOPLE IN NEED throughout the UK.
They donate grants in the region of £5,000 to charities and not for profit organisations. Prioritising those that will create a longer-term difference and where their donation will make an impact and fund the total cost (or the majority) of a project.
