Sanofi Patient Group Bursary
Overview
Sanofi has a longstanding and successful track record of working in partnership with patient groups and the NHS to meet the needs of healthcare professionals and patients.
The Patient Group Bursary 2013 will award three patient groups a share of a grant of £50,000 to support programmes running throughout the year.
- Gold Bursary: £25,000
- Silver Bursary: £15,000
Applications will be considered that demonstrate improving and promoting patient empowerment and information in 2013. They welcome applications from organisations that:• Are based in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland• Are non-profit making (please provide registered charity number or evidence that your organisation is non-profit making)• Are independently constituted from any national umbrella organisation• Put promoting the needs and interests of patients at the heart of their work• Propose to use the grant to finance a new project or existing project to improve and promote patient empowerment and information in 2013. The bursary is not available for supporting core organisation running costs• Agree to participate in a communications programme that publicises their award and the ongoing results of the grant. This will include providing regular updates on project progress for the Sanofi corporate website and providing quotes for press materials• Agree to sign a Patient Agreement with Sanofi in accordance with the ABPI Code of Practice and detailed below• Demonstrate measurable key performance indicators against which the success of the project can be assessed at the end of the programme• For the specific criteria against which the judges will score applications, please visit here
