Overview

RSA Climate Change and Risk Education Grant of up to £10,000 for your good cause. Please complete the application by 9am on 2nd July.

Following 2020 programme to track down any shareholders that had not cashed their dividends, RSA is launching a dividend forfeiture programme to distribute these funds to charities, CICs and community organisations in line with our climate and education goals. The programme has made £250,000 available for donation to be awarded as a number of grants.

Criteria

  • RSA is looking to support registered charities, community groups and community interest companies that are helping tackle climate change and environmental related issues, and further improve risk education and drive behaviour change.
  • RSA is looking to support projects that are tackling climate change, conservation and offsetting carbon emissions, and programmes that support our ambition to improve risk education for road, home, cycle and online safety, as well as child safety, ideally driving behaviour change.
  • RSA grant programme is not able to support the following types of activities: predominantly research (although projects with an element of research will be considered), repayment of loans, projects which have already been delivered, projects which are unable to evidence their impact.
  • RSA grant programme is aimed at organisations with a charitable purpose that are supportive and open to people of all backgrounds and faiths, and therefore is not able to support the following types of organisations: businesses, local authorities, individuals, organisations where observance of a particular faith is a prerequisite of support.
  • We are looking to support projects which will be completed within six months of receiving the grant, and with charitable organisations that can demonstrate the social impact of their grant funds.
