RBS Daily Telegraph Sport for You Small Grants
Overview
The Daily Telegraph, in partnership with RBS, will now help sports clubs by awarding five £1,000 support packages each month for the next year to encourage the development of amateur and community sports clubs across the country.
In order to do so, they would like you to tell them about your club, your successes, those who have served above and beyond the call of duty, what your club has done or would like to do within your community, and how you would put your £1,000 grant to use.
The grassroots of sporting endeavour in the UK are replete with worthy causes and your outstanding achievements, tales of dedication and commitment to the cause are what we would like to hear about.
Whether it is a boxing club in an inner-city community in Leeds or Liverpool which needs to have a roof repaired, a netball team in rural Norfolk setting up a tournament, or a table tennis club in a portable building in London needing new surfaces to play on, we would like to know how your club started and how it serves your community.
Tell them about your amateur sports club and they will do their best to support you.
