Overview
In spring, 2022, the Ragdoll Foundation made an open call for proposals to pilot and evaluate new work to reach disadvantaged young women up to 25 years old that would identify and respond to need, demonstrate innovation and added value, support and develop artistic talent, help to open doors, and support skills development, including working towards a formal or informal qualification. They also asked for proposals to widen horizons or raise aspirations amongst younger women 14-18 years old.
They received 51 applications and awarded six grants of between £8,000 and £30,000 for projects lasting between 7 and 24 months. Projects begin from September 2022 and continue through end-2024.
