Overview

The Queen's Silver Jubilee Trust (QSJT) was established in 1977. It aims to support young people in the UK and around the Commonwealth.

"We fund registered charities that enable and encourage young people to help others. We are spending out our funds over the next few years and will be particularly keen to work with charities to enable them to scale up work that is proven to be effective. We focus our charitable giving in the UK although we will also support charities at work in the Commonwealth.

Wherever possible, we aim to work in partnership with other funders in order to maximise the amount of money available for the causes we support. As a result, we are usually keen to work with other donors, organisations, Trusts and Foundations

Through our research and networks we seek out the charities we feel will best enable us to achieve our grant-making objectives. As a result, we do not generally make grants in response to unsolicited applications."
