Overview

Successful applicants will have support from the Elevate Programme team and we are working in partnership with a Mentoring Organisation in each Health & Social Care Trust area, listed below.

  • Belfast Women’s Tec
  • South Eastern County Down Rural Community Network (CDRCN)
  • Southern Supporting People and Communities Everyday (SPACE)
  • Northern Mid-East Antrim Agewell Partnership (MEAAP)
  • Western ARC Healthy Living Centre

Successful applicants will be supported by the Mentoring Organisations in their area to work through plans and activities to take forward the health inequalities idea outlined in their application form. This will involve 1:1 meetings, group discussions and best practice visits with other groups/organisations over the five-month period of the programme. There will be opportunities for new learning, mentoring support, connecting with others and developing skills that will bring the applicant’s grant ideas to life.

The grant offer will be £5,000 to each of the successful applicants. How that is spent and the impact it makes will be monitored and evaluated by the Elevate team and relevant partners in the Elevate Programme.
