Overview

Creative activities are essential for every child’s learning and development. The fun and enjoyment experienced through engagement with the arts encourages a positive attitude to learning, helps build confidence, raise self esteem and develop a sense of pride. Creative Paths offers children and young people, teachers, youth/play workers and artists the opportunity to collaborate together to achieve a successful project.

Creative Paths is a journey of discovery ….embark upon it and see where the journey takes you!

Accessing Creative Paths

Creative Paths is flexible and gives groups access to experienced artists, fresh ideas and new skills. Each project is tailored to suit the age and ability of your group. You simply have to be a member of Play Resource, working with children & young people aged 3yrs – 25 yrs.

Bursary Scheme

Member groups in areas experiencing social and economic deprivation, including inner city and rural areas can apply for a bursary that covers 60% of the artist’s fees. Groups are responsible for covering 100% of the material costs.
