Overview

The Act for Change Fund promotes the potential of young people with experience of disadvantage to devise and develop activities and programmes to shape the world around them. It aims to create a more diverse group of social, cultural and political leaders for the future.

With shared values around building the strengths of young people, PHF and EFF believe there are significant benefits to working together to share learning and better support the sector. Working with the #iwill Fund, they want to add to the debate on the impact of youth social action on young people and further explore the effect on skills, capabilities and well-being that leading change delivers. Although they know it is complex, they also want to examine ways in which the benefit to communities might begin to be measured and recognised. They aim to support organisations who have not benefitted from youth social action funding to date, strengthening their impact and sustainability.
