Overview

Please note the Council funding overall will be limited and there will be an individual upper limit of £5000 per application. The Council at its discretion may award less than £5000, or may decide to restrict grants to a limited number of activities.

Application forms need to be completed under this timetable for the following programmes:

  • Arts/Museum Programme (Max £750)
  • Good Relations Programme
  • Irish Language ( Max £750)
  • Sports Development (Max £500)
  • Summer Play Schemes (Max £500)
  • Ulster Scots (Max £750)
  • Community Festivals
  • Community Support Programme
  • Economic Development/Tourism Programme
  • Festivals/Major/Minor Events

All requests for monies except item Ulster Scots above must be received by the closing date normally at the end of November each year. The Council will only consider one application per organisation per programme areas listed above. An organisation may make multiple

In addition the Council will not accept retrospective applications i.e. applications seeking funding for projects already started. Applications without Accounts (where appropriate) will also be returned.

This procedure does not apply to Economic Development Applications. Many Economic Development Programmes have separate application procedures, which are periodically invited by advertisement.
