Overview

Montupet works in partnership with many of the major European and American automobile constructors such as Ford, Peugeot and Citroen. Its main manufacturing product is cylinder heads and alloy wheels. The Belfast site operates from the old De Lorean factory site.

Montupet employs 520 staff (2011). In 2013 it was ranked number 68 in Northern Ireland's top 100 businesses according to the Belfast Telegraph posting a proft of £10m.

Montupet supports local charities in a number of ways:

Payroll Giving: Through Caring & Sharing

Employee Matched Fundraising: They respond to individual requests from employees and their families who are involved with fundraising for local charities.

Grants: They also respond to requests from the local community in respect of projects for local schools or the eldery. No guidelines on grant level are available.

Employee Volunteering: They work with Business in the Community offering assistance on wide range of community projects, provide volunteers for various challenges, etc.

Collections: They also facilitate collections for Cancer Research, the N.I. Hospice, PHAb and sell pins for various charities throughout the year.

Annual Events: They run an annual football tournament for Cancer Research and ballots throughout the year for the Hospice.

Christmas Appeal They have a toy collection in November/December for Romanian orphanages.
