All applicants must present a project that will take place whereby the beneficiaries are from within the Mid Ulster District Council area.
  • Groups will only be able to apply for one grant out of the three themes. This is to maximise the funding allocation to as many groups as possible.
  • Under shared spaces, support to physically enhance venues is not applicable.
  • Staff and administration/overhead costs must not be greater than 12% of project cost. Volunteer expenses are ineligible with the exception of travel costs directly related to the project delivery. Organisations must provide their travel policy if claiming for travel/mileage.
  • Refreshments/hospitality and accommodation cannot be greater than 20% of the overall project funding allocated. Any requirement for additional hospitality as part of activities planned that are integral to the project outcomes and are important to directly further the objectives of the project, must represent value for money & should be kept to a minimum. (It is essential that you discuss any query relating to Hospitality with a Council Officer prior to submitting your application).
  • Residential activity will only be eligible if part of a longer process of engagement.
  • If applicants wish to deliver a project that involves working with schools, this work must be extra-curricular in nature and must also be delivered outside of normal school hours (i.e. evenings and/or weekends)
  • Applicants from all sections of the community are welcome. All applications must demonstrate clearly how the project activities outlined will be delivered through cross community participation.
  • Project activity must be new and not an extension of existing work taking place. Projects may complement other funded programmes but must show clear additionality. If the project is part of a wider package of funding, the outputs and activity specifically related to the PEACE IV element of the project must be clearly noted in the application.
  • For project proposals working with children, Promoters must have a Child Protection Policy and have Access NI checks in place before commencing.
