Overview

The Foundation assists the Club’s charity partners to raise vital funds by facilitating various events throughout the year; as well as increasing awareness of their work, once-in-a-lifetime experiences for children and adults who suffer from life-limiting or terminal illnesses, such as ‘Dream Days’ and visits from their favourite players. The Foundation also fulfils requests from charities, schools and grass root sporting clubs for signed items or player photo-calls for awareness campaigns.

The Foundation works closely with ‘wish’ charities, such as Rays of Sunshine, Starlight Children's Charity, Promise Dreams, The Willow Foundation and Dreams Come True, to organise the days. These charities specialise in granting wishes to seriously ill children and adults.

The Foundation has a long-standing relationship with UNICEF.

The Manchester United Foundation is a delivery organisation and does not make grants to other organisations.

Signed Merchandise: charities can apply for signed merchandise for fundraising purposes.
