Overview

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for this competition, the organisation which is being put forward must:

a. Be a UK registered charity, a social enterprise, a Community Interest Company or another not-for-profit voluntary or community club or organisation.

b. Have a UK bank account.

c. Offer sport for development – use sport to achieve one or more of the following social outcomes: i. Developing Life Skills ii. Improving Mental Health iii. Reducing Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour iv. Developing Employability Skills v. Building Stronger Communities

d. Work with young people aged 5 – 25.

e. Operate within the UK. f. Have safeguarding and equal opportunity policies in place.

How does it work?

To be in with a chance of winning up to £5,000 in cash support for your club, simply complete the application form available online after publishing your #ClubsInCrisis video on your social media account

Videos must be between 1-2 minutes long and cover:

  • What does your club do?
  • How does it address their key criteria issues? (Such as: developing life skills, improving mental health, reducing crime and anti-social behaviour, developing employability skills and building stronger communities.)
  • How will its closure impact you and the community?
  • How this money will make a difference?
