Application for tourism small grant of up to and including £1,000

 

Core criteria

The Tourism Development Unit will give consideration to financially supporting events/ projects that can provide evidence of supporting one or all of the following:

• attraction of domestic visitors and participants to the Lisburn and Castlereagh area
• generation of positive publicity for the area
• requires financial assistance from them to ensure the overall success of the event

Where the main purpose of an event/project is to raise money for a charity and/or charities, financial assistance will not be provided by them. 

They encourage early application for support by offering to feature the event in their promotional activity where appropriate.  

All applications will be treated fairly and a scoring matrix used to evaluate them.

The award of the grants will be at their discretion.
