Overview
1) Arts Encounters Scheme
A funding-in-kind scheme which constituted community and voluntary groups can apply for once in the financial year. Offers funding to the value of £1000 to include all artist fees and materials. Projects can be tailored to group interests / needs and delivered at times, dates and venues that suit the group. These activities can take the form of any arts activity eg. Dance, drama, crafts, music, visual arts. For groups with a lower capacity this scheme is ideal as the Arts Service manage the administration of the activities and funding for the group.
2) Arts Grants Scheme
This scheme offers grants of up to £3000 for arts activities delivered by organisations, this could be a specific arts project or annual programme. Groups are responsible for demonstrating that they meet the strategic objectives of the scheme and have the capacity to manage the grant.
