Overview
The Lankellychase foundation offer grants of up to £500 to support summer playschemes throughout the UK.
The Lankellychase foundation will support:
- Summer activities organised to benefit children and young people in Refuges or young carers aged 5-17 years
- Schemes be run by registered charities
- Schemes held in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
- Schemes with strong volunteer support
- Preference will be given to applications from organisations affiliated to a relevant nationally recognised body and adhering to national standards of practice
There will be approximately 120 grants made each year with the aim of an equal geographical spread. In 2008, 157 small grants were awarded to support Children's Summer Activities (£57,300). In 2009 they gave out £58,850 again awarding 157 grants.
In 2011 they will be supporting specific activities for children and young people who are:
- living in refuges for families escaping domestic violence or,
- young carers.

The application form can be downloaded from the website in Microsoft 2003 format or you can obtain a hard copy by contacting the office. You must also include a coipy of your child protection policy and a copy of your most recent accounts.
