Overview
Charitable Objects
The Trust’s Charitable Objects as described in the original Trust Deed are set out below. In summary they exist to:
- Promote education in the Christian faith among children and young people, and
- Support people in training for Christian ministry.
Guidelines
When they consider applications they consider the following questions:
- Is the ministry one they can be involved in and help to sustain over a period of time?
- Does the applicant have a demonstrable heart for ministry in the long term?
- Might the applicant struggle to obtain funding from other sources?
- Is the individual supported by his/her local church and a wider network?
- Is this a new ministry or an extension to an existing one which they feel will make a difference in the community it seeks to serve?
- Is making Christ known at the heart of the application?
Additional Notes
They welcome applications from individuals or organisations. Organisations will need to be registered with the Charity Commission.
Their average grant is £2,000. Please look at their Partners page to find out what they have funded in the past, to give you an idea of their focus.
