Overview
They are looking to support organisations that inspire young people on their enterprise journey. This might be helping them to set up in business, delivering enterprise education, innovative networking events, developing entrepreneurial knowledge and skills, or something completely new and different. They will be open to applications twice a year for the annual funding pot of £500,000.
Organisations applying to RBS Inspiring Enterprise should:
- Be formally constituted (you will be required to upload your governing document and previous year’s accounts during the application process)
- Operate on a non-profit distributing basis (you must be a non-profit organisation such as a charity, social enterprise or CIC)
- Not currently be receiving RBS sponsorship or grant funding or have received funding within the last 12 months
- Have existing links with the target audience of young people
- Not be a school, public sector body or local authority
- Have experience of supporting enterprise development
- Accept liability for the total costs of making an application
- Not duplicate or compete with existing RBS programmes, including those sponsored and/or grant funded by RBS (this includes but is not limited to: MoneySense, all Inspiring Enterprise partner programmes, BIS Start Up Loans scheme, Mobile Business School/Business Academy)
- Ensure, before applying, that any additional funding necessary to run their project is either already secured or will be secured on condition of a successful application
The projects they are seeking to support will be:
- Based in the United Kingdom
- Specifically focused on assisting young people aged 13-30 years old to explore enterprise
- Able to supply regular feedback and impact information to demonstrate success (details of the required reporting will be agreed with each successful applicant)
