Who for?

Combined funding from the Big Issue and UnLtd to create the Grwoth Invest Fund for early stage, growing organisations.

Their investment is made for organisations that are:

  • Committed to improving their team's diversity
  • Looking to grow their trading income
  • Tackling inequity in the UK

Investment Levels

They offer between £50,000 and £1,500,000 of investment.

There are three flexible investment types aimed to meet your needs

  • Equity
    • Shares in your organisation
    • £50,000 to £500,000
  • Revenue Share
    • Repayments based on your organisation's revenue performance
    • £50,000 to £750,000
  • Patient Debt
    • Regular repayments set at an agreed interest rate over several years
    • £500,000 to £1,500,000

Criteria

LEGAL
  • They are only able to invest in asset locked organisations at this stage. Equity investments are on hold until 2026
GROWTH
  • Have demonstrated proof of concept by generating some trading revenue already.
  • Are looking to significantly grow trading income and social impact.
  • Are interested in seeking funding as a repayable investment.
IMPACT

You can demonstrate that your organisation's focus is on tackling inequity for marginalised people in the UK.

They are interested in organisations that primarily serve individuals experiencing one or a combination of: socio-economic disadvantage, Racism and exclusion experienced by racialised communities, Gender discrimination, LGBTQIA+ discrimination, Place-based deprivation and Disability discrimination.

You are directly tackling inequity through your products, services, training or employment.

REPRESENTATION

Organisations that have more than 75% representation at Board and at least 50% representation at Senior Leadership Team of individuals who fall into one or more of the following categories:

Solo founders, and organisations that demonstrate a clear commitment to improving diversity, equity and inclusion are also eligible to apply.
