Background 

Fermanagh Young Leaders Programme is proud to announce the launch of their new grant aimed at providing funds to groups who support/would like to support individuals with disabilities and/or mental health challenges. We have developed “Fermanagh's Helping Hands” grant award which aspires to enhance the quality of life for those facing the challenges associated with disabilities or mental health issues. Fermanagh's Helping Hands Fund seeks to provide grants of up to £1,500 to aid groups that are supporting or wish to support individuals with disabilities and /or mental health challenges.

Applicant Criteria

If you are interested in applying, please check your eligibility against the criteria below: 

  • Your group MUST be located within the Fermanagh area
  • Your application must be for a maximum £1,500
  • Your project/activity must address challenges related to improving lives of people with a disability/ mental health issue. 

This funding is available to community/ voluntary organisations, not individuals or private businesses.

 You can apply if your organisation has an income of less than £100,000 a year and is a: 

  • constituted voluntary or community organisation
  • registered, exempt or excepted charity
  • charitable incorporated organisation (CIO)
  • not-for-profit company limited by guarantee
  • community interest company (CIC)
  • community benefit society
  • co-operative society

Eligible organisations must be based in County Fermanagh, focus on mental health or disability initiatives, have an organisational bank account and provide evidence of previous work.
