- To help coaches set up courses to develop sport in Fermanagh.
- To help with the promotion of sports events in Fermanagh that are open to entries from the general public or are events of national or international importance.

GENERAL RULES CONCERNING GRANTS:
- Grants will not be issued in retrospect.
- All grants will be subject to Sports Advisory Committee discussions and are not issued by right. Often a limited percentage of the costs involved will be grant aided. No grant shall exceed the sum of £200.00. Grants will take into account the limited overall budget for sports development; not all applications can be met.
- Grants will normally be paid direct to the business from whom services are being obtained, rather than through the individual or club concerned.
- Those seeking grant aid cannot be admitted to that section of a meeting considering that grant, but may attend to explain their application.
- The level of involvement of representatives of clubs in the activities of the Sports Advisory Committee will be, to a small extent, an influence on the allocation of grant aid.
