COVID-19 Grant Streams – Opening January 2021

The following two Covid-19 Grant Streams will open on Friday 22 January 2021.

  1. Covid-19 – Community Support Fund (Tranche 3)
  2. Covid-19 – Volunteer Support Fund

(Please note businesses cannot apply to this fund)

  1. Covid-19 – Community Support Fund (Tranche 3)

The Covid-19 Community Support Fund is available to groups wishing to provide community and social support to vulnerable and isolated persons in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area at this time Funding must focus on one of the following areas:-

Financial need* – Projects must clearly demonstrate how they will identify those at risk due to financial stress and provide details on how they plan to address these needs.*This element will only be open to organisations with experience of assessing financial need.

Food need- Projects must demonstrate how they intend to target those most in need of food and how they plan to meet this need.

Connectivity need – Project must identify target groups such as those living alone, those living in rural / border areas and those with no access to the internet/laptops and can provide cost effective ways of meeting these needs.

Applications for this grant aid stream will open on a rolling basis from Friday 22 January 2021.

  1. Covid-19 – Volunteer Support Fund

The Volunteer Support Fund has been made available to provide vital support for volunteering in recognition of the crucial role that volunteers have played in addressing the many challenges faced by Covid-19 to date.
