Enkalon Foundation Youth Sports Bursary

Overview

The purpose of these awards is to facilitate achievement by aspiring young performers who have the ability and potential to achieve success in their chosen sport at Provincial, National or International levels.

Application for an award will only be considered from:

• Individuals resident in the Antrim Borough
• Individuals attending school or college in the Antrim Borough
• Individuals who are members of a club in the Antrim Borough

A decision to make an award will be based on:

• Ability of the applicant
• Need of the applicant
• Benefit to sport in Antrim
• Record of commitment/service to school and club

Awards up to a maximum of £500 are available to assist individual young people with the costs of training, travel and equipment. Applicants must be under 25 years of age in the calendar year of the award being made. Antrim Sports Advisory Association will be responsible for the dissemination of the Awards to individuals who in turn shall be required to demonstrate that the award has been properly used. Antrim Sports Advisory Association shall be entitled to recover an Award should it be established that it has not been used in an appropriate way.
