Overview

HOW THIS FUNDING CAN SUPPORT YOUR ORGANISATION

• Immediate access to Subject Matter Experts and a broadly experienced team of data protection professionals
• Removal of the ‘unknowns’ experienced when conducting a similar process internally
• Peace of mind that you are working with one of the largest, most established data protection providers available
• A decrease in the potential for compliance failure across the organisation
• Substantial reduction in regulatory and reputational risk
• Ultimately leading to improved trust, increased engagement, elevated reputation – promoting ever-increasing organisational value

HOW IT WORKS

• The DPO Centre has set aside a £100,000 funding pot, split into 2 application periods throughout the year
• Eligible charities will be invited to apply for up to £10,000 of funding towards any of their consultancy services listed below
• Once the submission date closes, all applications will be carefully considered by our dedicated funding panel and applicants will be notified of the outcome
• Multiple applications can be made over time, but only one application in each 12 month period will be considered

Whatever the size of your organisation and whether you are an environmental, social, animal, children’s or community-based charity or NFP (or indeed something else), you will be eligible to apply for funding.

ELIGIBILITY

They would expect your organisation to:

• Be based in the UK
• Have a management committee in place of at least 3 unrelated people
• Have a bank account in the charity/NFP name
• Be able to attend a meeting with a DPO within 12 weeks of signing
• Be willing to carry out a case study once the consultancy work has been completed
