Overview

Charity Bank in Northern Ireland delivers on its mission by providing competitive, ethical savings accounts for individuals and organisations which in turn fund the loan finance that supports its social sector borrowers here. It provides loan funding from £50,000 up to £3.5 million, while larger loans can be arranged in partnership with other social lenders.

Who can apply for a loan?

They only lend to organisations based in the UK. They lend to most organisations that have a social purpose and can repay the required loan.

Use of the loan

A loan can be used for any legal purpose which supports the social objectives of the organisation. The loan purpose will be agreed and approved as part of the application process; should circumstances change, the borrower must let us know and any adjustments will need to be agreed.
