Overview

The Foundation funds research on cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions that cause disability. This includes basic science research to help understand the causes of disability, and research that focuses on the effectiveness of interventions to improve quality of life.

The Castang Foundation is led by a small group of Trustees, with different professional backgrounds. The Castang Foundation funds one or two new research projects each year.

Researching funding

In recent years, The Castang Foundation has funded research in partnership with other organisations. They do not consider applications from researchers outside the following funding mechanisms:
