Belfast Connection Vouchers Scheme
Overview
The Connection Vouchers Scheme provides financial support towards the cost of high-speed connectivity solutions. If you have an SME (small or medium-sized enterprise) or are a third-sector (voluntary) organisation within the Belfast City Council area and have slow or incompatible broadband service, you can approach service providers directly with the help of our grants.
This means you can boost your connectivity and take advantage of the benefits of doing business online.
These benefits include:
- a more reliable service
- business growth through increased competitiveness in local and international markets
- better communication with partners, suppliers, customers and staff
- reduced costs through more efficient working
- improved data storage and accessibility
- faster upload and download for large files.
They will provide grants for up to £3,000 (excluding VAT). This will only cover the initial installation cost of the connection. The minimum grant available is £250.
Both SMEs and third-sector organisations located within the Belfast City Council boundary with slow or incompatible broadband can apply for a voucher. Agents or landlords may also apply on behalf of their tenants, provided the tenants complete the necessary forms.
