Overview
Facilitated by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, the scheme is open to villages with a population of less than 1,000 people and aims to bring about the enhancement and improvement of the borough’s small rural areas.
Running until 18 April 2019, recognised community groups can apply for funding between £5,000 and £15,000 for works including the installation of village welcome signs, street furniture including seats, litter bins, notice boards and any other minor improvement projects.
Criteria for applications will be based on deliverability, impact within the area and providing value for money. Successful applications will receive notification in the summer, with works due to be complete by the autumn.
